Limited Edition Roasted 1961 Stratocaster
This Limited Edition Roasted 1961 Stratocaster connects you with everything that makes early 60's strats special and has must have modifications from the Fender Custom Shop. The 2-piece roasted alder body has an aged black over 3-color sunburst finish that was given the super heavy relic treatment. The quarter sawn, roasted maple neck feels great and is paired with Jumbo (6100) frets, a 9.5”-radius and a Large "C" profile.
A super-heavy relic lacquer finish imparts the look and feel of a guitar that has relentlessly lit up stage after stage for many years. Its two-piece select alder body is roasted to create a rich dark color and to simulate a guitar that has aged with a decrease in wood moisture content and an increase in sustain.
Fender Custom Shop gave this guitar Hand Wound Texas Special Strat pickups with 1/2 blender wiring. These pickups are over-wound for increased output, and are made with alnico 5 magnets and enamel-coated magnet wire for great midrange bite with crystalline highs and tight bass.
Additional features include a tortoise shell pickguard, Custom Shop vintage synchronized bridge, vintage tuning machines and a bone nut. Also includes deluxe hardshell case, strap and certificate of authenticity.
