The most notable feature of this bass is its impressive range of tonal possibilities. The MEC Twin-J/Twin-J pickups are of exceptional quality and out preform traditional humbucking, dual-coil pickups. The Twin-J houses two humbucking J-pickups within one cover, connected to a 3-way coil tapping switch that allows the player to choose between the neck coil, bridge coil, or both coils. This setup is repeated for both the bridge and neck pickups. The MEC Twin-J's have a unique voicing, with a distinct sound in single coil mode compared to a traditional MEC J-style pickup. In humbucking, dual coil mode, these pickups really shine, delivering a tight and powerful sound with plenty of bite. The Twin-J's also feature gorgeous hand-crafted Madrone Burl wood covers that match the top.

Very Good Condition: This bass is in very good condition overall but shows some light signs of age/wear. The finish has several blemishes that are visible in the photos. The neck is healthy with plenty of relief left in the truss rod and no heel swell. The frets are clean and free of serious wear or divots. The fretboard and inlays are healthy and look great. The electronics are all original and sound healthy with no noise.
