Serial Number: HL30221 Weight: 7lbs 5oz
Condition: This guitar is in excellent condition! Everything is original except the bridge pickup which has been changed to a Seymour Duncan JB. Everything is healthy including the electronics. The frets and fretboard have very little wear. The finish is entirely free of scratches, chips or cracks but there are a few small marks that are hard to see in the photographs. This guitar does not include a case.
This guitar was created by legendary designer Rich Lasner. This is what he had to say about it:
“To me the ultimate Rock/Metal guitar should feel, look and sound the part.
To this end, custom DiMarzio® pick-ups- capable of anything from a whisper to a scream, were developed for the 1221/1221M guitars. A "smart" switching system makes sure each position is humbucking no matter what combination is selected.
Just as in the other bolt-on Pacifica instruments, the Total Access™ neck joint system allows complete use of the fingerboard. In this case that means reaching all 24 frets without ever coming in contact with the body. Because I designed this series with the modern, advanced player in mind, it is especially important that the entire neck be one seamless unit, clear of any interference that might impede technique. No other bolt-on at any price offers the complete freedom of movement found in the 1200 Series.
By combining custom pickups with a solid neck and American basswood body, these Pacificas offer what I think is the perfect balance of aggressive looks, liquid playability and huge, controllable sound.”
